Eithne Healy is conducting an ongoing personal journey travelling to locations that represent, for her, places of memory. In a series of probing film narratives supplemented by groups of landscape paintings she has sought to understand the relation between identity and place in a context of the West Coast of Ireland. Healy presents a compelling image of cultural memory expressed by way of allegories of time and space extended together to form a unique meditation on the nature of being and place.
